CIP Long Beach is ideally situated near Long Beach City College and California State University Long Beach, and less than two miles away from Long Beach airport and 30 miles south of the Los Angeles.

There are an abundance of neighborhood amenities that include: grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, retail stores, and restaurants that are located only a short walking distance away.

Exceptional Colleges & Universities

Students have the option of enrolling in several world-class educational institutions. The closest and most accessible by public transportation are Long Beach City College and the California State University Long Beach (CSULB), which has the longest-established and largest Disabled Student Services department in CSU system.

Internship & Career Opportunities

CIP Long Beach assists students in career preparation and in building valuable employment skills. Each student’s interests are explored and developed through volunteering, internships and job placements. The heart of the entertainment industry is in close proximity and major studios, producers, and production companies for film and television shows offer opportunities for paid and unpaid internships.

Comfortable Apartment Living

CIP Long Beach students reside in fully furnished two-bedroom apartments located at The Crossings at The Bay, across from CIP. Each student has their own bedroom and shares a bathroom, kitchen and living room with their apartment-mate. Other amenities include a swimming pool, parking, and laundry facilities.

Two Week Summer Program

Young adults with Asperger’s syndrome, ADHD, NLD and other Learning Differences have the unique opportunity to practice their newly found skills in a fun and supportive environment during CIP’s two week Summer Programs.
